HIDDEN IN THE HIVE

The Title of this project is inspired by the homing of Bees. Much like our own homes, a bees nest is a bespoke network of routine and attachment morphed around the habits and personality of each colony.

For me, a home is much more than a tangible object. It is a feeling of comfort, belonging and escapism. I know how special it is to have a home, as so many suffer without. This work is a personal depiction of what 'home' means to me, and the spiritual attachment towards my sense of belonging.
